Designed to stop trash from reaching the lake by intercepting it along the streams that supply the lake.
Requirements for Participation
This program operates like our Adopt-A-Shoreline Program with the exception that two rather than three cleanups are required per year.
Leader must be at least 18 years old
Three year commitment
Four to ten members (exceptions on case by case basis for larger groups)
Two cleanups per year, preferably in early spring, mid-summer and early fall. School groups can choose a schedule to fit the academic year.
Completion of Agreement Form
Proper clothing - closed toe shoes and gloves required; long pants, long sleeve shirt and hat strongly recommended
Trash bags brought a nearby Chatham County Collection Center or if not convenient, can be left at location designated by CJL for later pick up
Report to Clean Jordan Lake with number of trash bags collected, number of volunteers and any interesting items of trash
