Kim Brewczak, SECRETARY

Kim has been in North Carolina for over 30 years now and moved to Chatham County 16 years ago. She loves the outdoors and living very close to the lake has had adventures enjoying the lake via kayak and pontoon boats. And if you ask where her favorite fishing spot is, she will tell you “it’s a secret”. Seeing what can happen to the lake on her adventures, she decided to sign up and become part of the cleanup efforts during the year. This is her first year serving on the board and hopes to make a great impact in the efforts to Clean Jordan Lake. Her work background is sales with an Associate Degree in Business Administration.

He loves the outdoors and is passionate about the environment, having participated on Jordan Lake and Haw River cleanups since the 1990s. Since joining the Board, Carl has taken a leadership role in organizing our semi-annual trash cleanup events. He takes long walks along the shoreline to the select sites months ahead, posts the event at our meetup.com site, recruits Track Captains to lead volunteers and walks the sites again to flag the routes and mark Trash Treasure Hunt items just ahead of the cleanup. He and his wife enjoy kayaking the many rivers and creeks that feed Jordan Lake, and are likely to return with their boats full of trash that happened to find its way aboard.
